Fairview Middle School and Fairview High School students are organizing a 2021 See You At The Pole (SYATP) student prayer event this Wednesday, September 22 prior to the start of the school day.

See You at the Pole™ is a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, schools and nation to God.

The student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event takes place at 7 a.m. To participate, students can simply arrive at their school flagpole 10 minutes before 7 a.m. and pray with friends and simultaneously pray with students all across the country.

For Fairview High students, they are asked to meet at the flagpole near the student parking lot.

“Just Pray” is this year's SYATP theme.

See You at the Pole™, the global day of student prayer, began in 1990 as a grass roots movement with ten students praying at their school. Twenty years later, millions pray on their campuses on the fourth Wednesday in September each year.

While students gather outside their school, adults can also pray in support of the students on campus by gathering at their own places of work or worship, or at City Hall's flagpole at 7 a.m. for prayer.
