Former Fairview High soccer player Brandon Parrish helped the Clemson Tigers win the NCAA College Cup National Championship for Soccer on Sunday.
The #8 Tigers advanced to their fifth National Championship game in program history where they defeated #2 Washington 2-0. A sophomore at Clemson, Parrish plays midfielder, wearing the #20 jersey.
According to Fairview High Head Boys Soccer Coach Shane Smith, the former Yellow Jacket soccer standout remains the all-time scoring and assist leader for FHS. Smith said Parrish was also a major part of why the Jackets advanced to the State Semi-Finals two years in a row.

2021 Season (Sophomore)
• Tallied his first assist of the year against South Carolina
• Tallied his second assist of the year against Boston College
• Scored his first goal of the year against Boston College
2020 season (Freshman)
• Earned his first career start against Boston College (March 27). This also served as his 10th career appearance with the Clemson program.
• Logged his first career shot on goal in the match against Wake Forest (Oct. 13).
• Made first career Clemson appearance during the Tigers’ season opener at South Carolina (Oct. 1).
• Earned appearances across 12 matches.
Prior to Clemson
• Named the Gatorade Tennessee Boys Soccer Player of the Year for the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons
• Named a TDS Spring All-American for his play during the 2019 high school season
• Two-time District 12-AA Player of the Year
• Named an All-State selection for Class-AA
• Selected for and played in the Allstate Cup
• Played club soccer for Darlington Academy
• Recorded six hat-tricks while at Fairview Hight during the 2019 season
• Accumulated 68 career goals and 40 assists while at Fairview High
