Fairview High School recently celebrated Lady Yellow Jacket Volleyball seniors – Ella Ryerson, Anastasia Bierly and Ella Ryerson. Here is a short bio on each of these young ladies representing Fairview High on the court.
Ella has been on the Lady Jackets Volleyball Team for four years in the setter position. Her favorite volleyball memory is playing six hours straight in back-to-back district tournament games to advance to the regionals. After graduation, Ella plans on attending Western Kentucky University and studying psychology.
Anastasia has been on the Lady Jackets Volleyball Team for four years, playing varsity and a key role as the middle blocker and hitter. Her favorite memory during that time was a funny moment at the Coastal Carolina Top 9 Camp when Neyland threw a banana peel in the toilet and made her fish it out. After graduation, Anastasia plans to attend college to study kinesiology and become an athletic trainer or physical therapist.
Summer has played four years for Lady Yellow Jackets. She contributed to the team’s success in left back and defensive specialist positions. Her favorite memory is beating Creek Wood to advance the team to regions. Summer plans to attend college after graduation from FHS to study to become a Certified Public Accountant.
