FHS Boys Soccer

On April 13, the Fairview Boys Soccer improved to 3-2-1 by defeating Hickman County with the score of 3-0. Celebrating senior night, the young men representing Fairview showed up to play.

In the first half, junior William Lesswing found his first goal of the season off a great run up the center of the field. In the second half, most of the play was on the Hickman County side of the field. This allowed both team captains, senior Matthew Stevens and junior Mason Dowdy, to find the net. Standout player of the game was Evan Hutchison who was the fourth player to assume the goalkeeper position. Evan posted the first shutout of the season while turning away five shots and was named Player of the Game.
