This past weekend was the anniversary of the 1974 Super Outbreak of Tornadoes on April 3rd and 4th, and Tennessee was right in the middle of it. A total of 148 tornadoes touched down in 13 states in a 24-hour period.

There were 10 fatalities in Putnam County, 7 in Fentress, 5 in Pickett County and 3 in Overton County.
