A one-vehicle accident on Thanksgiving morning has resulted in the death of a Fairview man and the arrest of his friend for vehicular homicide.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol’s preliminary report, 21-year-old Eli Sullivan, of Fairview, died as a result of the accident that occurred around 5:15 a.m. Thursday morning in the 8000 block of Shoals Branch Road south of Fairview.
Kameron Harris-Lusk,19, of Primm Springs, was driving a 2019 Polaris Z19 side-by-side UTV northbound on Shoals Branch Road with Sullivan and Gracie Pack, 20, of Fairview, in the passenger seat.
When Harris-Lusk attempted to negotiate a curve, the two-seater vehicle left the roadway to the right, striking two trees.
Sullivan was pronounced deceased at the scene with Pack suffering minor injuries.
The THP’s preliminary report indicated all involved had consumed alcohol prior to the accident, and stated Harris-Lusk was the only one wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
Harris-Lusk was arrested and booked into Williamson County Jail on charges of vehicular homicide and felony reckless endangerment.
