GraceWorks Ministries will be hosting another Mobile Food Pantry this Saturday, November 14 at Fairview High School, 2595 Fairview Blvd.  The free food giveaway is organized to feed the needy in our community.

In keeping with COVID safety recommendations, the event will distribute food through a drive-through process, limiting contact and exposure between volunteers and recipients.

Several cadets with the Fairview High School JROTC Program volunteered to assist GraceWorks Ministries in distributing food to local families at their October 17 at their Mobile Food Pantry hosted at the high school.

Help is needed for this Saturday's Mobile Food Pantry! A trailer truck of food arrives at 7 a.m. and volunteers have until 8 a.m. to unload the truck, set up tables and sort the food for distribution.

At 8 a.m., the volunteers will start distributing the food. Volunteers will load the boxes and bags of food into their neighbors' trunk.

Once all the food is distributed, everyone will do a quick clean up.

More volunteers are needed to assist this Saturday from 7 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Fairview High School, 2595 Fairview Blvd. The GraceWorks contact person is Melissa Carter.

Don't forget to bring your mask!
