Fairview High School juniors and seniors were pleasantly surprised when school administrators and teachers refused to let COVID-19 destroy their prom night 2020.
With approval from Williamson County Schools, Fairview High creatively hosted a Pandemic Prom May 16 in the FHS teacher parking lot.
All Fairview High juniors and seniors attending experienced a prom like no other. Dressed in their formal prom attire, the students stepped onto the red carpet, passed by the massive columns and took center stage for prom night photos and dancing all while maintaining social distancing guidelines.
A highlight of the evening was the crowning of FHS Prom King and Queen which was determined by online voting. Ethan Kelley was named FHS Prom King with Nicole Grayson crowned FHS Prom Queen.
The school faculty also voted to crown Mr. FHS and Miss FHS for 2020. Once again, Nicole Grayson was called to the stage as Miss FHS with Jax Turner chosen Mr. FHS.
Event coordinators expressed special thanks to all those who helped make FHS Prom Night 2020 a reality for the students.
Next up will be FHS graduation scheduled for July 17 at 7 p.m. at the Ag Expo Center in Franklin.
