Fairview High Jackets are ready to swarm Cheatham County this Friday night at the Nest.

The Fairview Yellow Jackets were hoping to battle Hickman County on the gridiron last Friday night for their first home game of the season. That didn’t happen after Hickman County High announced they were unable to participate after some of their players were being quarantined due to COVID-19 virus.

Fairview coaches searched for another opponent and found Ripley High School was willing to travel to Middle Tennessee. However, by Thursday, the severe weather threats associated with Hurricane Laura forced the cancellation of the game entirely.

Now, the Jackets are looking forward to this Friday night when they will host Cheatham County for their first home game. If all goes well this week, the Yellow Jacket fans might have a chance to enjoy the Senior Night recognitions as well.

Kickoff for the Fairview versus Cheatham game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Nest.

Watch for the single game ticket purchase link and the livestream YouTube link to be announced by the athletic director Thursday or Friday morning via social media accounts.
