Experience Paint with Mrs. Pende every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Fairview Arts Council, 1696 Fairview Boulevard. Meet up with artists and crafts persons to work on your projects in a social atmosphere. Former Fairview High art teacher Peggy Pendergrass, fondly referred to as Mrs. Pende, will offer guidance. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience in many forms of art having taught at Fairview High for over 25 years. A recommended $5 donation to the Fairview Arts Council is appreciated.

Home Celebration
Fairview High School will be celebrating 2023 Basketball Coming Home this Friday, January 27. Girls game begins at 6 p.m. with crowning of new Coming Home king following. Boys game will begain after the presentation of the Coming Home Court and the crowning.

present Shrek the Musical
Star Bright Players will present five performances of Shrek the Musical January 26-29. Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film, Shrek The Musical is a the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess. WCPR Artic Plunge
at Longview Rec Center
Start the new year off with a thrilling experience – join the Williamson County Parks and Recreation’s first Artic Plunge on Saturday, January 28 at the Williamson County Longview Recreation Center Outdoor Pool. Each plunger will receive a t-shirt, raffle ticket for prizes and all of the bragging rights associated with such a brave endeavor. You can even get creative for this fun event which will feature a costume contest and other activities, all while benefiting The Well Outreach in Spring Hill. Paw Pantry hosted
at Fairview Rec Center
The Williamson County Animal Center will host Paw Pantry offering free dog and cat food to pet owners faced with financial hardship on Saturday, February 4 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Fairview Recreation Center, 2714 Fairview Boulevard. This program is limited to Williamson County residents. This is a touchless drive through event with delivery to your car.

Seniors are invited to visit the Senior Lounge at the Fairview Recreation Center Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for coffee, games, puzzles, pool table and more.
